He summarizes it this way: by using sandboxing, you can restrict access an application can have to operating system resources like filesystem or network etc. For Mac OS X hosts, Oracle VirtualBox ships in a disk image ( dmg ) file. Perform the following steps: Double-click on that file to have its contents mounted.
